What a show. Today we played Found It, and the question was simple enough on the surface: add up three answers and guess the total. How many pence in £10? That's 1,000. How many players in a rugby union team on the pitch? 15. How many prime numbers are there between 1 and 100? Now that last one is where most people come unstuck. The answer is 25, making the grand total 1,040.
I should say, three of my Magna colleagues, Lucy, Olivia and Millie, all failed to show up today, so it fell to our listeners to save the day. And save it they did. Martyn in North Leverton and Tammi in Market Rasen both nailed 1,040. Brilliant stuff from both of them.
Then came Topical Tune, and the story today was a good one. A 62-year-old man who has pretended every single day for 33 years is Christmas Day. We're talking almost 14,000 turkeys and over two million mince pies. Crackers, presents, sherry, the lot.
Your suggestions were brilliant. Tracy in Boston took the top spot with Whitesnake and Here I Go Again On My Own, which is just perfect. Morrissey's Everyday Is Like Sunday came in at number two from James in Lincoln, and rounding out the top three was Adam in Grimsby with History Repeating by Propellerheads featuring Shirley Bassey. All fantastic choices, honestly.
