The four-day music and arts event Lost Village, in Norton Disney, returns to North Kesteven for an 11th year this summer and the Council recognises the contribution it has made to the local economy and place over the years.
The Council is pleased to welcome this high-quality event back to the District between 27-30 August – see the exciting music line-up on the Lost Village website.
Over the years the Council has built up a very positive relationship with the event organisers, who also engage with the local community. Working with Environmental Health, the Lost Village team has also successfully reduced off-site noise levels and finishing times for live music in recent years.
The Council is also proud of the positive impact the popular event brings to local suppliers and culture, as well as raising awareness of our beautiful area.
The effect on the local community and economy can be seen in the event organisers’ Community Impact Report from 2025, where it was revealed that the event had made a total economic contribution to Lincolnshire of £2.25m, up 12.5% on 2024. £1.25m was spent directly with local suppliers, an increase of £250,000 year-on-year.
In addition, around 50 local volunteer and work experience opportunities were created, up from 35 in 2024.

“The figures in their latest Community Impact Report showcase the importance of the event to the local community and economy, and supporting local causes, and we are proud to support Lost Village.”
Ben Atkins, one of the Lost Village Directors added: "Through our Community Impact Fund, Lost Village has been able to support a range of local causes, including funding for local schools, community arts initiatives, sports teams, cultural programs and even speed signage, with the total funding in the calendar year approaching £100,000. We are proud of the community we are part of and will continue to fund vital projects in the area.
