Launch of the Atlantis Alliance Hub - thanks to the East Lindsey Investment Fund
A unique beachfront hub, which promotes coastal safety in Lincolnshire, is being officially launched on Saturday 1 August 2026.
Millions of visitors will be heading to the county's coast this summer and will see the long-awaited Atlantis Alliance Hub in Mablethorpe. The high-profile site is based at the Queen's Park Beach Huts and has been supported by a grant of £55,000 from the East Lindsey Investment Fund (ELIF).
The £20 million ELIF scheme aims to improve life for everyone in East Lindsey and was set up by the district council in 2024.
Lincolnshire Police approached East Lindsey District Council and successfully proposed the idea for a multi-agency hub, bringing key services together under one roof.
The Atlantis Alliance Hub has been open for several months and provides an operational base for emergency, support and search and rescue services to respond to incidents and callouts.
The hub team can help deal with missing children and vulnerable adults. They can also provide information and advice on issues such as staying safe on the beach and in the water, preventing crime and promoting caravan safety.
Coastal Services Day
The hub's official launch is part of a free 'Coastal Services Day' in Mablethorpe on 1 August between 10am and 3pm.
The event brings together a range of local and national organisations - including emergency services, coastal safety teams, and community groups - to highlight the vital work being done to keep everyone safe in Lincolnshire all year round.
There will be free demonstrations, information stands and interactive activities on the Central Promenade between the Mablethorpe Lifeboat Station and the Atlantis Alliance Hub. Everyone is welcome.
