Our story

About Magna Mix

The soundtrack of a generation, 60s, 70s and 80s, broadcast on DAB+ from a Lincolnshire studio.

Classic hits, made in Lincolnshire

The music that was about feel, not formula

Magna Mix is the classic-hits sister station to Magna Radio: 60s, 70s and 80s, played by presenters who know the music inside out and have the stories to match. Made in Lincolnshire, broadcast on DAB+ across the county.

Part of the wider Magna Radio group, same parent operation, same Lincoln studio, same county focus. Mix launched alongside Magna's refreshed 2026 line-up, built for the listeners who want big tunes from a time when the music was about feel, not formula.

The weekday line-up runs Gemma Hill at Breakfast, Adam Weighell in the morning, Gav Roberts in the Afternoon and Andy Goulding in the evening, with The Nightshift carrying the night through. Weekends bring Tim Disney at Breakfast, JD in the morning, Rob Hammond in the Afternoon, Gav Roberts Disco Classics on Saturday night, and Chris Marsden's Sunday Best leading into The Retro Chart with Warren Miller every week.

In September 2025, the Magna group brought on Lincolnshire Marketing to plan the marketing campaign and build the websites for both stations. Mix sits on the same studio, same operator, same Lincolnshire commitment as Magna Radio, different sound, same family.

Magna Mix is operated by FAB Radio Ltd, trading as Magna Mix. Tune in on DAB+, listen via the website, or catch up shows on Listen Again. Same Lincolnshire roots, different decade.

Community first

Schools & charities

Magna runs an active schools and charities programme: visits, interviews, free promotional air-time and sustained support for the people doing the good work in the county.
