What a lovely show today. Firm Favourites got things off to a great start, with the team over at The Beauty Cafe in Lincoln picking the songs.
We then stepped back in time for One Moment in Time, looking at the year The Collection opened here in Lincoln. It was the same year Daniel Powter had us all singing along to Bad Day, which I think most of us remember rather well.
The Old Skool Run was a good one. KLF and Tammy Wynette with Justified and Ancient got things going nicely, a proper bit of nostalgia that had a few of you reaching for the phone.
Mystery Voice is still very much unsolved. The clip is on my page if you want to have a listen. So far you've been coming in with Margaret Thatcher, Gillian Anderson and Helena Bonham Carter, none of which are correct. Keep trying, someone will get there eventually.
I also asked you to share your memories of the summer holidays when you were growing up, and the stories coming in were just brilliant. Seaside trips, long afternoons doing nothing in particular, the kind of freedom kids don't always get these days. It really was a lovely bit of the show. Keep those memories coming, I'd love to hear more.
