A local historian is launching his latest book... Lincolnshire's Victorian-era Murders... on Tuesday 20 October by starting a tour of storytelling events at historic pubs across Lincolnshire, that all have free admission.
The first event is at the London Inn in Stamford, where people will be able to learn about three of the crimes that were committed in the town... with future dates already planned for Crowland, Spalding, Lincoln and Holbeach.
Author Simon Potter says that while murder stories are enormously popular in TV dramas and novels, when they are real and happened in your own town... your own street... or even your own house... that adds an extra dimension...
